We believe that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God.
We believe that God exists eternally in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit and that these three are one God. We believe that God is the absolute and sole creator of the universe and that creation was by divine command. We believe that God, by His sovereign choice and love for men, sent His Son, Jesus Christ into the world to save sinners.
We believe that Jesus Christ in the flesh was both God and man. That He was born of the Virgin Mary and that He lived a sinless life. He was crucified, died as a penalty for our sins, and was raised from the dead on the third day. Later, He ascended to the Father’s right hand where He is the head of the church and intercedes for believers, and from whence He is coming again personally, bodily and visibly to set up His millennial kingdom upon the earth.
We believe that by the shedding of His blood the Lord Jesus Christ made a perfect atonement for sin, redeeming us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us.
We believe men are saved by grace through faith. That salvation with its forgiveness of sins, its impartation of a new nature and its hope of eternal life, is entirely apart from good works, baptism, church membership or man’s effort and is of pure grace.
We believe that a true born again believer is eternally secure, that he or she cannot lose his or her salvation. We believe that all who receive Christ become joint heirs with Him, and at death, their spirits depart to be with Christ. We believe that during the rapture, their mortal bodies will be raised to the likeness of His glorious body and dwell forever in His divine presence.
We believe that Water Baptism, in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit and by full immersion, is an act of obedience and a demonstration and testimony of our faith in Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior.
We believe that Holy Communion is the Lord’s Supper and is a representation of the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. The Lord’s Supper should be observed in remembrance of Jesus Christ, as a testimony to His death for our sins, sickness and suffering until He comes again.
We believe that it should be the goal of every Christian to become a disciple of Christ by growing toward spiritual maturity through the knowledge of and obedience to the Word of God and by submission to the Holy Spirit, who indwells and seals all believers at the moment of salvation. As believers we must seek the fullness of the Spirit since it is His dynamic power, influence and the maturity of love that will bring about victorious Christian living on earth.
We believe that every Christian should be part of a local church for their protection, edification and spiritual growth. Additionally, church membership in its true sense serves as a means by which Christians use their spiritual gifts for the benefit of the body of Christ and the advancement of the kingdom of God.
